Most of my life I didn't know what I wanted to "be" when I grew up, because I didn't know that I could "be" what I REALLY wanted to "be".

Even as a little girl, I was dreaming entrepreneur dreams! I remember trading friendship bracelets, hacky sacks, hair scrunchies and headbands I made during recess. And instead of preparing a lemonade stand, I would spend hours searching for the perfect rocks to crack open and sell at my, "rock stand". When my Aunt & Uncle remodeled their bathroom, I drew on the left over tiles with permanent markers and cracked them to make "puzzles" to sell. When they didn't sell, I decided to put them in people's mailboxes to market them. Now I wish I could see the faces of the people who opened their mailboxes to find broken tiles in sandwich bags! They must have thought they had been pranked!

In 2007 I realized I could actually "be" what I wanted to "be" and here I am doing what I love for a living! Just receiving your orders and reading the thoughtful quotes you request to be inscribed absolutely make my day. And hearing about the special moments my pieces are going to make in your lives, no matter how small.

I love shopping for quality materials, then the excitement of getting them back to the studio to create! I often times stay up all night if I am feeling really inspired! And when I am all done with a piece I have so much fun packaging it up with the pretty ribbons and embellishments I have found that just might make the package a little more fun to open up! I want each recipient to feel like I am sending them a personal gift from myself.
